Jamie Trio Sept 15 “Homecoming” Concert kicks-off new series on Chicago Northside

VOCALIST JAMIE O’REILLY & CELEBRATED TRIO PERFORM “HOMECOMING” CONCERT

FOR OPEN DOOR MUSIC SERIES AT RAVENSWOOD CHURCH IN CHICAGO

CHICAGO– In honor of Latin History Month, Vocalist Jamie O’Reilly leads her Trio in a public concert at the Ravenswood Presbyterian Church, on Sunday, Sept 15 at 3 PM at 4300 N. Hermitage on Chicago’s Northside.

 

The concert is the first offering in the new Open Door Concert Series that will showcase the musical talents of Chicago area ensembles.”Keeping an open door is a key part of our church’s mission”

We turn no one away.” Says concert host and church Musical Director Henning. “We offer bi-lingual services and our campus shares space with several not-for-profits and community groups.””Jamie has been a guest soloist on occasion. She sings in Spanish as well as English, and her work has a social justice focus. She is also a Lincoln Square resident, so her group seemed like the right choice to inaugurate the series.”

The September 15 concert will take place on Homecoming Sunday in the Sanctuary after services.
Jamie will be joined by Peter Swenson, guitar, Bob Weber, cello,  Michael Smith, guitar and Paul Henning, piano
