Singer/Writer Jamie O’Reilly’s parlor-piece In Old Chicago, returns to Chief O’Neill’s Pub as dinner theater. Jamie & Co. present writings of The O’Reillys, her feisty, artistic relations and a formidable clan for over 125 years in Chicago, and of their adventures during the Irish cultural renaissance on the threshold of WWI. Jamie shares stories of her forty-plus years as an arts activist and of her friendships with aural historian Studs Terkel and her late musical partner, songwriter Michael P. Smith.

Jamie sings a broad range of songs – from Americana to swing – with John Erickson, piano. Judi Cogan Heikes and brother Christopher O’Reilly are Readers.
Poets featured include Carl Sandburg, Siegfried Sassoon, Muriel Rukeyser, and Tex, Dorothy, Nell and Mame O’Reilly.

Tickets are $25 at the door.  The evening is presented dinner theater style with offerings from the Pub’s delicious dinner and drink menu.  Street parking.
