For this spring event, John Erickson is featured on jazz piano. He accompanies Jamie on a mix of American standards, smoky ballads and also plays jazz solos. Now in the 6th year of their musical collaboration, as Jamie’s accompanist, John navigates a stunning range of musical genres with panache and no-how. For this event they will feature jazz and cabaret tunes, with a mix of American standards, smoky ballads and John’s captivating solo piano. Guest poet Maureen Flannery joins them.

John Erickson, Jazz Pianist and Composer
Recognized for his fine lyrical playing style and versatility, John Erickson’s sound could be described as a blend of Bill Evans, Bruce Hornsby, and George Winston. He strives for a perfect balance between warm melody and adventurous jazz improvisation when he performs.
