A Note from Jamie
February, 2019
This February morn, as a thaw soaks the street, and Chicago braces for more ice, and who-knows-what weather, I’ll be going out! Visiting new grandbaby Cosmo Angus Broz , born Jan 27 to Meg, Alex and sister Olive! And tomorrow, watching 10 month old Arlo, Nia and Casey’s little boy.
My business update. I’m back!
I’ve been on a kind-of hiatus producing-wise, scaled way back over the past few years. BUT this month, I’m back, making the rounds with old friends: doing a photo shoot with photographer Iwona Biedermann, being interviewed by Rick Kogan on WGN radio, performing a Valentine Salon with Anne Hills, and reading a story for the actor/writer John Starrs Celebration at Rhinofest.
I’ve engaged the services of a design team to create a new website (same domaine, new look). I’m excited to try out the enhanced features the new format offers, as I explore this newest creative chapter for myself. We’ll be focused on ME: archiving my extensive body of work, highlighting my blog and essay writing, and making my recordings easier to find and listen to. Expect an update/announcement on the launch next month.
Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all
Jamie
