One of my favorite ballads of love and longing, I learned The Lowlands of Holland from my friend Travis. He sang it to me during slow times waiting tables at a Lincoln Park pizza place in the early 80s.
The Rogues and I learned it, and Paul Amandes and I share the lead on our Banks of the Roses album, recorded by Rich Warren in 1986.
