March Concerts with Anne Hills
Save-the-Dates Weavermania and Songs of a Catholic Childhood in April
Note from Jamie
Michael presented a workshop for a very enthusiastic group in Livonia, MI
last month, inspiring this new booking offering: Songwriting Workshops for the Adventurous (See here). Our well-received program And the Poet Sang at the Poetry Fdn last month has been adapted for play in libraries and concert venues. We will bring it to the Jazz on A Summer’s Day Series for Portoluz in Lakeside, mithis summer.
(See our new webpage). This week Michael’s on the road with Anne Hills, including a show at Godfrey Daniels, the venerable music club in Bethlehem, PA. Michael and Anne hit road together again this September. April brings a tour with Weavermania and Songs of the Catholic Childhood on the road. And more.

Michael Smith’s Songwriting Workshops
For the Adventurous Mind
“He’s a great teacher because he’s spent a lifetime being a great student of
the challenging art of songwriting. I have attended dozens of workshops presented
by many gifted songwriters and yet no other writer has more profoundly influenced
my work than Michael Smith.” (Dan Hazlett)
